Welcome to the second edition of my Top Picks! I was so excited to share my picks for August that I’m a little early this month.

After completing a client styling project last month and trawling (very happily) through endless furniture and decor stores to find the perfect pieces for each room, I came across some items that I’ve truly fallen in love with. I’m also definitely gravitating more towards deep rich neutral colours and textures at the moment, like olive green, maroon and burnt orange.

Some of these pieces are sure to add a luxe touch, but others can be picked up for a lot less than a pretty penny. A highlight for this month definitely has to be the launch of Kmart’s newest homewares range – there are some stellar pieces in the collection that can be blended into almost any space, and all for their awesome low prices.

I’ve also included some pieces that we have in our own home – the Max Dining Chairs from Early Settler Furniture which I absolutely adore for their colour, texture and form, and the Saidee Throw from Freedom which has been a staple in our home for a number of years now.
