Welcome to the third edition of my Top Picks! I’ve been on the hunt for a new bedside table for our spare bedroom for a while, and late last month I finally stumbled upon the perfect piece on Amazon.
So this month I thought I would share some of my top picks that I’ve got my eye on from Amazon home.
Amazon certainly isn’t as big here in Australia as it is in the US, but it is growing. It’s also a pretty unique place to find home and decor items that you can’t get anywhere else.
It’s like a bottomless brunch of items to choose from. But, this can be a little daunting when you’re trying to figure out what to enter into that search bar to find exactly what you’re looking for.
These are some of my top tips to help you find the perfect piece:
Use as many descriptive words as you can in your title to narrow down your search
If you find a product that you like, scroll down on the product page to view items of a similar style
The same goes for brands – if you like the style of a product, you click on the brand name to see more products by the same supplier
Use filters to your advantage – if you have a budget or colour in mind, use them to narrow your search
Read reviews – there’s a lot of great items on Amazon, but also some not-so-great ones. Always take a look at the reviews before adding to cart – if an item has low stars, it might be best to avoid it
